For over a decade, Foundation of Orthopaedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS) has been giving back life to children who would have otherwise remained stigmatized, isolated and even died from scoliosis across Africa. With the support of philanthropists world over, FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital has fully sponsored and carried out life-saving surgeries on at least 500 children with the selfless leadership of Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, the internationally acclaimed Spine Surgeon.
To continue this worthy cause, FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital launched a campaign to solicit financial support in raising GHS 5 million. This is to support underprivileged children undergo life-changing surgery and also equip a 16-Bed Pediatric Ward with a multi-purpose activity center attached (currently under construction at the hospital).
